As SVP of Account Management, you need strong leadership skills to effectively supervise a team of account managers. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, resolve issues, and build long-standing relationships.

With your strategic thinking capability, you set goals and strategies that drive customer retention and satisfaction. Additionally, your analytical skills allow you to assess client needs, identify business opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth.

Communication is everything in this role, as you will be the conduit between the board and the accounts team, and by extension sales and production. Last but not least, you must possess a customer service orientation, as your role is centered around ensuring customer engagement and retention.
